ive been stuck in bed for last few days wit bad chest infection,but its only getting worse?i collapsed on the way up the stairs wit a fit of coughing,a mixture of coughing and gagging almost,going red wit the coughing,no flem or anything,its a real deep coughGo get yourself checked by someone with "M.D." after their name. Don't **** around and die listening at people hear on Yahoo Answers that don't know what the helll or what the fukkk they're talking about when it comes to your health. When you can't B a doctor, it's best to go C a doctor!You might have bronchitis or an upper respiratory infection. You probably need to see a doctor so he can properly diagnosis what you have. It could develop into pneumonia, which you do not want.I dont think you would "feel" cancer anymore than you would feel anything else. You prob have bronchitis, or the flu, or like others said Pertussis. Whooping cough. Go to the doctor, they swab your throat etc and you may find out what youve got. phlegm is usually good as it is a sign of it breaking up and coming out. So no phlegm, its probably still in your lungs. Do you smoke.. dont if you do, at least til youre better.Probably not lung cancer, maybe an infection or pneumonia. Sounds like a chest infection...not cancer. Lots of mucus? Then it's pseudo-bronchitis, try to get antibiotics, otherwise sleep in an elevated manner so any mucus generated as a result of the infection can drain down your sinuses into your throat and eventually into your stomach, instead of clogging up your sinuses and lungs.It does sound a like whooping cough, have you been vaccinated?
But you could also have bronchitis, pneumonia or the flu (which has a real deep cough to begin with). I would guess pneumonia if you have a fever 102 or over. You need to see the doctor.
If it's whooping cough, you should go in right away because with the right medication, you could shorten the course, which can be a long one.I was told by a doctor that cancer is not painful. My father-n-law and grandmother both passed away from lung cancer and they both were coughing up blood.
