I am curious, I heard someone with a tumor in their head went to a chiropractor to remove a tumor and it bled more in their face and messed up the operation. I was wondering if it is normal for chiropractors to perform operations to remove tumors? This is a serious question. Thank you.Either the Chiropractor was moonlighting and did something very illegal, or the chiropractor did an adjustment only and caused a hemorrhage and you didn't get the story completely right. T for thought.IF IT WAS A TUMOR IN THE HEAD.... then it was probably a neurologist. Chiropractors usually perform surgery on the back and neck not on the head.Chiropractors are NOT, I repeat, NOT surgeons...they do NOT perform any surgery of any kind...
orthopedists can perform surgery...but not of the head and neck..and not on tumors (just bone)..a neurologist or an otolarangolist (ears, nose and throat) who is a surgeon could...
IF a Chiropractor is performing surgery, you need to call authorities ASAP...call the police, the AMA, your local and state medical board, and get this guy stopped...If a chiropractor pulls on the spine without realising that a patient had a problem, a skull base tumor may bleed. Chiropractor neck manipulation may also be responsible for strokes following treatments.
However, chiropractors are not licenced or insured for surgery of any kind so I doubt that story is true.A chiropractor would not do such a procedure.Chiropractors are not surgeons. So no, it's not normal for them to perform one.Chiropractic is not medicine...#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
