I want to set up a charity event. It can't be costly. I want it to be a raffle or dance or combination of both. Any ideas? Any tips? Any suggestions? Any step by step recommendations? Any favorite charities? Thanks! We just had a charity event for my son. There are alot of good ideas. Ours was a great turnout, we had Karoake with a guitar hero contest, Friday. Saturday we had soft bands all day, with kids games (fish, poick a duck.) face painting a funhouse. And at night we had a more popular band and a bowling wii tounrment at $10 entry and we gave winners gift certificates which were donated. My idea is that chose a charity you want to donate to if its not one already one where you live. Once you do that get a full idea of what you wanna do before you just say i want to do this. Then to get the word out just put up lost of flyers and tell your friends and family members about it. But you also have to rent a place out if you dont have one.Firstly.you need a licence to collect for charity and preferably be endorsed by the charity you want to help.Approach local companies for help using headed paperwork stating what the event is,who the money is for, where and when to be held..Most schools like to help for a small donation and a mention.#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
