Buying 2k4 Mazda Rx8 over Nissan 350z and Audi TT from same model year - Smart Call?

I like car with a kick, but I'm not a power freak or gear-head. Peak speeds and 0-60 times are not as important as comfort and reliability. That being said, I do like having the ability to pass someone on the interstate when I have to.
Anyway - Smart call? The Audi is a bit more than the 350z and Audi TT, but they both fit in the same general price range I've set for myself
performance 350>tt.rx8
handling rx8>350>tt
space rx8>tt>350
mpg tt>250>rx8
style they all look good
although it all depends on what modle though.... the rx8 has two engines for certain years w/ diffrnet hp levels, u have to change the oil all the time, they handle and shift like a dream. id only get the z if it has the lsd in it.... as for the tt only if its the 225 awd other than that its the same car as a vw gti
~Good Question, but first, let me give you a quick overview of the cars.
~AUDI TT- this is considred a premium branded sports car, therefore upon buying the car, comes high insurance and high maintainance cost. The ride quality is quite smooth, and you may feel uncomfortable when cornering too fast ( due to the sport suspension). In all, this is a good car, but not practical, and although parts rarely breaks, to repair parts of the car is quite costly.
~MAZDA Rx8- This is a very well priced sports car. This is a beautifully designed sports car that easily seats four people, with sufficient leg and head room. In terms of comfort, the ride is silky smooth, a surprising bonus for sport cars. the driver's seating position is just right, and maneuvering the car is also flawless and sequential. In all, this is a very practical car for everyday use.
~NISSAN 350Z- the overall quality is just magnificent, thanks to Nissan's Luxury division: Infiniti. Infiniti took over the 350Z interior components, making it sporty and plush. The external styling the car is just mind blowing. There is a good combination of quality and everything in this car. In all,
~The VERDICT? go for the Rx8, simply because the car is fun to drive, quite a head-turner, and not as costly when it comes to maintenance. Also, as you have mentioned, you have a great deal on the car, and it's a real bonus. But if you feel bolder and itching to splurge a bit more money, then the ultimate answer is the 350Z. It holds its value very very very very well!
~Sorry for the long rant, but Hope this helps ^^
My only doubt on the RX is service and mechanical repair costs, it's pretty exotic stuff under the hood - it might be worth asking for fixed service costs for all three.
